The Life Outdoor Living brand is successful worldwide. Within the Netherlands it was sold by Buitenhof Tuinmeubelen. Together with Redkiwi, the integration of these brands has been taken up. Important here is the cohesion between online environment and the stores, where the garden furniture assortment of Life Outdoor Living offers many possibilities.

Omnichannel strategy
For Life Outdoor Living, we have developed an omnichannel strategy that starts with the basics: a new e-commerce environment that both does justice to the brand and focuses on conversion. In this, we aim for an experience that is consistent both in-store and online. Here, we make the e-commerce platform supportive of the store.
Platform solutions
The scale of the collection and the amount of data requires a solid platform-oriented approach, based on a composable architecture. To this end, we have set up new environments: a Magento2 storefront with a Hÿva theme, an inRiver PIM environment for product and information management, and all connections through Alumio to ensure smooth integrations.
Setup PIM system
With inRiver, we have established a new data model based on the information needs surrounding the collection of Life Outdoor Living. From marketing information to pricing, and from technical specifications to spare parts. This is linked to SAP B1 & Magento to form the essential link in information provision.
Teamwork makes the dream work
At Redkiwi, we work together. With each other and with customers. We asked Giel from Life Outdoor Living what it's like to work with us. Giel is e-commerce manager at Life Outdoor Living. With the rebranding of the Buitenhof brand to Life Outdoor Living, there was a need for a new website. “In doing so, Redkiwi showed that they could best translate our brand positioning into an online webshop and website, thus bridging the gap between stores and online.”
Over the past 4 months, we therefore worked intensively together to build a new webshop. From Redkiwi we developed design as well as back-end and front-end. “Together with the team we are now working mainly on further developments to the platform and Redkiwi is looking along technically and strategically in order to sharply define our omnichannel strategy.”
We faced a big and complex challenge. “Building a website and webshop of this size and complexity and then also a rebranding on top of that, that only works with the right cooperation, attention and focus from all involved.” The fact that our collaboration was awarded a silver DIA award is therefore, in our opinion, a well-deserved cherry on top!
